Our Philosophy

We built VibeOS because we believe software should respect users. That means your data is yours - we don't want it, we don't need it, and we certainly don't sell it. Our apps run entirely in your browser using local storage.

What We Collect

Payment Information

When you purchase an app, payment is processed by LemonSqueezy. They collect standard payment information (name, email, payment details). We receive only:

  • Your email address (for license delivery)
  • The app(s) you purchased
  • Your license key

License Keys

License keys are stored in your browser's local storage. We verify licenses client-side - we don't track when or how often you use our apps.

Technical Data

Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically collects basic server logs (IP addresses, page requests) for security and performance. These logs are not used for tracking and are automatically deleted.

What We Don't Collect

  • User accounts or profiles
  • Analytics or usage tracking
  • Cookies (except essential session cookies)
  • Your files, documents, or app data
  • Browser fingerprints
  • Location data

Your Data in Our Apps

All data you create in our apps (PDFs, images, notes, code) is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB or localStorage. This data:

  • Never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it
  • Is not accessible to us or anyone else
  • Can be deleted by clearing your browser data
  • Is backed up only if you enable cloud sync (coming soon)

You have the right to:

  • Request information about what data we have (spoiler: just your email and license)
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time

Since most of your data is local, you have complete control. Just clear your browser data to remove everything.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we'll post the changes here and update the date. For significant changes, we'll announce them on our website.
